Some things just make me mad! I got a speeding ticket today that I didn’t deserve. I was going with 60Km/h on a road with 2 lanes per direction and a separation barrier with a speed limit of 50Km/h !!! On a road like that its quite easy to pass 100km/h and still being safe. The limit gets to 120km/h 100m later. However the limit is there so that the police can collect funds for their far salaries…

It was 5min ago that I got out of a gas station having filled up my reservoir, having decided to start driving economically to see how many km I will be able to pull out of 44lt of gasoline. So no big accelerations and top speed of 100km/h. So the moment the cop signaled me to pull over I had my eyes on the counter. Finally I am a free man! Yesterday, after one whole year, I completed my military service. I must say it was a long year. I try to remember the first day in the military camp one year ago and it kind of hard. I just remember the desperation of leaving all my life behind to goto something unknown. Family, friends, jobs, ambitions.. everything. I was feeling that I have nothing to do with guns and uniforms. Why should I be obligated to to this? It was unfair. Anyway even if I did serve most of my time near my hometown, the military service was a very upsetting time. It probably had to do with the sensation of slavery that the army gave me. It kind of hard to flush your personality down the toilet and be a dummy private at my age. It is also that I never felt that I was important there. That I was doing something useful. I would like to introduce you to my little dog! So people meet Maya. I always wanted to have a dog and now I got the chance. Maya is a female English Cocker Spaniel puppy. Ever since Maya came to our home everything started to revolve around it. Actually you can’t do elsewise. It is so small and fragile that need attention all the time. I’m in bed with the flu today. Such an off-timed thing to happen It was probably due to the great weather instability we experience the last days… The temperature droped from 27C to 10C in a day!…

I hope it doesn’t keep me down for more than 2 days…

Recently the village my father was born in got a web site! The village is located in the Pindus mountains in Epirus, in northwest Greece, 90km north to Ioannina and is part of the Mastorohoria villages. North to the famous Zagorohoria.

I think it’s the most beautiful village in the world
